Keepsake Postcards:

Even with the borough consolidation and the creation of Northern Cambria, I believe for many of us, it will always be Barnesboro, Spangler, and Hastings, Pennsylvania. I heard it said many times during a family reunion at the Barnesboro Pool last summer. I've heard it from friends and family members. It's been expressed in various ways in the Northern Cambria Website Guestbook. It will always be Barnesboro, Pennsylvania.

It is the same for Spangler and Hastings. For those of us growing up in the area and those with strong ties, it really will always be Barnesboro, Spangler, and Hastings, Pennsylvania.

Originally printed in the 1950's, (look at that car) the printing on the front reads "Greetings from BARNESBORO Pennsylvania." With full rights granted by the original publisher, I've altered the printing to "It will always be BARNESBORO Pennsylvania."

The postcard is beautiful and meaningful keepsake; digitally enhanced, and laminated.

and HASTINGS Pennsylvania.

I have included the original wording on the back of the postcard: "Outstanding SCENIC BEAUTY of the area, along with excellent facilities for many forms of outdoor recreation, attracts visitors the year 'round." This is as true today as it was 50 years ago.
