Who is the Teacher?

Sifu Gary W. Abersold currently teaches all classes; Sifu Gary has 20
years of combined teaching and training experience. His lineage is traced
to some of the most prominent Masters of our time. His passion and
dedication and clarity to his students are of most importance to him. He
no longer joins affiliations or Commercial groups due to the fact it is
self-promotion and for the money. His Organization is open to anyone that
desires to learn and does not promote Team Competition. He believes that
the only person you need to compete with is yourself. His arts and beliefs
are described as " Self realization through the Eastern Energetic Arts".
He promotes Self Cultivation and the "Developed Spirit" and say's the
student's hard work and persistence should go to the student and that the
teacher is just the guide at the time. He endorses "Healing yourself
through Correspondence of correct natural movement with Environmental
Elements, meaning anyone has the ability to help themselves through these
time tested practices.

Current Styles of Training:

Energetic Arts of Michigan is dedicated to providing quality training in
authentic Traditional Systems of Qigong, Meditation, White Crane Kung Fu,
Traditional Tai Chi Chuan, and realistic Self-Defense applications for
self- protection. Current styles as follows:

Qigong: Health Rejuvenation Qigong, Taoist & Buddhist Qigong, Medical
Qigong, Martial Art Qigong, Postural Qigong, Healing Sound Qigong, Moving
Training Form Qigong, Tai Chi Qigong.

Tai Chi Chuan: Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, we teach all the
components found in Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan such as Qigong, Bare-Hand
Form Training, Ruler, Ball, & Stick sets, Sensing Hands, Weapons Sets. The
style is a Small-Medium frame Style of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan. All Tai
Chi students must have had at least 6 months of Qigong class before being
allowed to train Tai Chi Chuan.

White Crane Kung Fu: Authentic and invigorating is the best way to
describe White Crane Kung Fu. This style focuses on extremely flexible
movement punching, kicking training sets that develop the Internal &
External Body. This style is considered a soft hard style, if you want to
learn Traditional Kung Fu White Crane has it all, and only the serious
need to apply.

Meditation: Seated and Standing, Walking Meditation, from Taoist and
Buddhist lineages. You will learn the proper way to set up a successful
Meditation practice with levels of progression and breathing strategies.
All meditation is derived from Traditional Eastern religious Practices
without the exposure to Religious Philosophy
Being taught. Temples and organizations are provided for individuals that
are looking for the Religious side of the practice taught by ordained
Monks from Japan, China & Thailand.

Self Defense Practice Group: This is a training group free of charge to
practice the applications of the blocking, striking, conditioning, Joint
Locking and Chemical Spray Protection. Most self- defense training is non-
realistic do to the fact it does not emphasize realistic application
execution. This class is designed for practice and knowledge enhancement
and practicing application on many different students and developing
defense against the most common attacks encountered on the street.
